Business Finance Programme

Running a business means dealing with numbers every single day. Cash flow, forecasting, profit margins – they're not just accounting terms, they're what keep operations moving forward.

We built this programme around that reality. Six months of practical financial training designed for business owners and managers who need to understand what their numbers actually mean.

Not theory. Not textbook examples. Real scenarios you'll face when making decisions about spending, investing, or planning for growth.

Business finance training session with real case studies and practical applications

How It Actually Works

We structured this as three distinct phases. Each builds on the previous one, but they're designed so you can apply what you learn immediately in your business. Most participants start seeing clearer financial pictures within the first few weeks.

1

Foundation Phase

Understanding financial statements, cash flow basics, and how to read what your numbers are telling you. Two months of getting comfortable with the fundamentals that matter most.

2

Application Phase

Taking those fundamentals and applying them to real decisions. Forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning. This is where it gets practical – and where most people have their biggest breakthroughs.

3

Strategy Phase

Growth planning, investment analysis, and financial risk management. The final two months focus on using financial data to guide business strategy rather than just tracking it.

Who's Teaching This

Our instructors come from finance backgrounds, but more importantly, they've all run or advised businesses. They know what it's like to make financial decisions with incomplete information or tight deadlines. That perspective shapes how they teach.

Next Programme Starts August 2025

We run two cohorts each year to keep groups small enough for meaningful interaction. The August session will have space for 24 participants.

Classes run Tuesday and Thursday evenings, with weekend workshops scheduled monthly for deeper dives into specific topics. Most people find the evening schedule works well alongside full-time business responsibilities.

Sessions are held at our Castle Hill location with remote attendance available for those who need flexibility. Both formats get the same instruction and materials.
